The aerial platform is built on a special chassis. It is Toyota Hilux modified to 6x6 drive. It makes the platform capable to drive through rough terrain and the 5.6 ton GVM provides increased stability to reach 16m height.

It is no longer required to send assisting vehicle with tools, next to 3.5 ton standard pickup as this Toyota Hiload takes a crew and tools and does the job of two.
